There are six elegant guest rooms tastefully decorated in a different décor. All of the guest rooms are air-conditioned during the Summer months. There is WIFI access throughout the house and property.
The sitting room or parlor is located right off the dining room. It's a great place to relax in comfort and enjoy the company of the other guests. You can check your itinerary from the many books and maps of the area which are available for the guests use.
The dining room has large bay windows, a beautiful chandelier, an oriental rug, and a 2nd small table w/ lite ammenities just for you. This room accommodates 8 guests per sitting who will feast on a family-style breakfast. Since the house sleeps 12 to 14 there is an organic rotation to the seatings. First come, first serve! Breakfast times are flexible.
The large beamed ceiling sets the tone for the Family Room. The crackling fireplace lures our guests to gather round and warm up when there is a chill in the air. There is a LED Smart TV for those who want to use it. The television is connected to the internet, and has smart apps already loaded onto it like NETFLIX, Facebook, Pandora, and more. Plus tons of downloads at your fingertips.
In 1912, the original owners inspired by what they saw, wanted to share their pleasures with the world. The actual sign Bella Vista, which means "beautiful view", still hangs on our front porch. Original trees have grown tall and stately. They enhance the grace and dignity of the quaint setting. A large lawn and quiet garden add to the serenity of the scene.
Guests of the Bella Vista have a variety of choices from all parts of the spectrum. Relax in a quiet, rural setting, walk through a small country town, or enjoy the many attractions available in the area. We pride ourselves in being very centrally located. We are twenty minutes or less from many tourist attractions, outlet malls, and antique shops . Ephrata Cloisters, Landis Valley Farm Museum , and historical towns and cities are minutes away. Both Lancaster and Berks Counties are famous for flea markets and antique malls. In fact, Adamstown, the Antique Capital, is fifteen minutes from our B&B. Our area is also known worldwide as the " Dutch Country".
After busy days spent sight -seeing or shopping, guests relax in our lawn. Others choose to take advantage of the old fashion rocking chairs or porch swing. For your added pleasure, a fifty-acre park is located right across the street. It features a playground, pond and many trails. On the other hand, you may just want to relax in either of our two sitting rooms. One of the two common rooms has a fireplace and TV.
We are only minutes from several of Lancaster County's finest restaurants, or with advanced notice, we can arrange for you to have dinner with a local AMISH family.
